We are seeking a motivated and technically adept Nightshift Machine Operator to operate our Ledinek planer.

This hands-on, full-time role is ideal for someone confident, capable, and ready to join our high-performing team.

As a Nightshift Machine Operator in our Remanufacturing plant, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the Ledinek planer within the Cutline/Finger Jointing department. Your key duties will include:

  • Setting up and operating the Ledinek planer to process timber to required specifications
  • Monitoring machine performance and adjusting settings to ensure optimal output and quality
  • Inspecting timber for defects and ensuring products meet quality standards
  • Feeding, stacking, and handling timber throughout the machining process
  • Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of equipment
  • Accurately recording production data and reporting any issues or downtime
  • Working closely with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, including cleaning work areas and equipment
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains

Looking for work-life balance? This role offers a consistent Monday to Thursday nightshift (4:00pm – 2:30am), with overtime required at the end of each shift—and a three-day weekend every week.
