As our Fleet Coordinator, you will be at the heart of ensuring our fleet runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve coordinating maintenance, ensuring compliance, and working closely with both our internal teams and external partners. Here’s a look at your key responsibilities:
Fleet Maintenance and Presentation:
- Keep our fleet in top shape! You will oversee timely servicing, and run daily/weekly reports to track maintenance schedules.
- Perform daily spot checks on vehicles to ensure they are ready to hit the road—checking safety and presentation.
- Work with our internal team and external service providers to schedule repairs, servicing, and maintenance to keep our vehicles operating at their best.
Fleet Compliance and Safety:
- Monitor licenses, road user charges, and necessary permits to ensure we are fully compliant.
- Maintain the E-roads system and coordinate insurance/warranty claims as needed. (Training provided)
- Ensure the fleet has up-to-date compliance certifications, and that safety and first aid equipment is available and maintained.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure daily prestart checks are completed and that all safety equipment is in good condition.
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and coordination skills who thrives in a hands-on role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment. Previous experience in fleet management, dispatch, or workshop/mechanical roles is a plus, along with a mechanical mind set and an interest in fleet maintenance. Flexibility to work outside regular hours when needed to support emergencies or breakdowns is also essential.
