We currently have a rare opportunity for a dependable and adaptable team member to join our Kennington operation in a full-time Heavy Machinery Cover Role. This is a position that offers not just a job, but real exposure to the wider workings of our site and the chance to be part of multiple departments that contribute to the production of the high-quality timber products we are known for.
As a cover role, no two days will look the same (everyone say this, but we guarantee it!). You will rotate between critical operational areas such as the sawmill loader, CCA treatment plant, forklift operations across departments, and pellet plant duties. You’ll be stepping in where needed, supporting various teams to ensure things continue to run safely and smoothly.
To be successful, you will bring with you the right licences, a sound base of experience, and – most importantly – the right mindset. We are looking for someone reliable, willing to pitch in wherever needed, and keen to learn more about the machinery that keeps our site running. You’ll work with people across different areas, so being a respectful, confident communicator, who values safety and professionalism is essential.

We are after someone who understands that flexibility is key – in both attitude and availability. Dayshift start and finish times may vary depending on the needs of the business, and we are looking for someone who can adapt with us.
