Join our Kennington-based team as a Dry Mill Generalist Operator and Labourer and gain comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience across timber processing operations. This dynamic role involves operating grading machines, wrapping and labelling packets, treating timber and assisting with various tasks across our busy dry mill processing department .
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate grading machines and perform tasks such as wrapping and labelling packets.
- Gain experience in the processing of timber from the sawmill to dispatch for internal and external customers.
Position Details:
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm, with overtime as required. Working overtime is a requirement of this role, and is typically worked Monday to Thursday until 4:00pm.
- All overtime is remunerated at an overtime rate.
- Guaranteed 40 hours of work each week.

What We’re Looking For:
- A positive attitude towards learning and working within a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and be physically fit to handle the demands of the role, including lifting timber.
- Experience operating a forklift is a plus but not required; training, licensing and forklift driving may be offered for the right candidate.
