Class 5 Drivers
McNeill Distribution, part of the K G Richardson Group, is a proudly Southland‑owned transport business based in Invercargill. We are now seeking experienced and motivated Class 5 Truck Drivers to join our professional transport team, servicing logging and bulk distribution. These positions will be based at our Kennington site, near Invercargill.

What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 5 vehicles
- Holders of a Class 5 licence or the ability to obtain
- A strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Those who are committed to health and safety; must be able to provide a clean driving record
- Demonstratable work ethic, supported by solid employment history, and reliable recent references
Responsibilities Of The Role Will Include
- Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks associated with loading and unloading
- Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining safety standards
- Representing the business professionally at all sites and interactions
- Maneuvering vehicles into position and using lifting and tipping devices for loading and unloading
- Adhering to all safety requirements for loading and unloading and operating the vehicle
- Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
- Completing and verifying loading documents, driver log books and other required documentation
- Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
